banke bihari is the reason most people come and it is also the most dangerous crowd on this list — there has been a fatal crush here. go on a weekday morning, not on janmashtami or holi, and keep your wallet in a front pocket. the premanand maharaj padyatra darshan has changed route twice in 2026, so anything you read about its timings is probably already wrong.
