best buffet restaurants in navi mumbai (2026)
honest reviews of 10 best buffet restaurants in navi mumbai. marriott buffets, weekend brunches, with prices from rs 1,200 to rs 2,500.
tldr: out of 10 buffet restaurants in navi mumbai, my top 3 are 7 isles at marriott (rs 1,800+, best luxury spread), courtyard pavilion by marriott nerul (rs 1,499, best value), and the oberoi buffet for special occasions. the two marriott properties dominate navi mumbai’s buffet scene, and both are worth it if you go on saturdays with a zomato or swiggy discount. full reviews below.
navi mumbai’s buffet scene is essentially a two-horse race between marriott properties, with a handful of other hotels and restaurants trying to compete. the truth is, if you want a proper unlimited buffet in navi mumbai - the kind with live counters, a charcuterie section, proper desserts, and enough variety to justify spending rs 1,500+ per person - you are choosing between 7 isles and courtyard pavilion.
i have been to both on saturday lunches, which is when these places go all out. weekday buffets are cheaper but the spread is noticeably thinner. this guide covers the major buffet options in navi mumbai with honest opinions on whether the price justifies what you get.

the top tier (worth full price)
1. 7 isles, marriott navi mumbai
marriott navi mumbai / rs 1,800 + taxes per person (saturday lunch) / 8.5/10
7 isles is the all-day dining restaurant inside the marriott property in navi mumbai, and their saturday lunch buffet is the most complete buffet experience i have had in navi mumbai. the spread is divided into clearly marked sections - charcuterie and cheese, salads, soups and breads, live counters, indian starters, asian mains, indian mains, and a dessert section that honestly deserves its own review.
the charcuterie section had salamis, cured meats, pickled jalapenos, olives, and an assorted cheese board with emmenthal, brie, cheddar, and goat cheese. the cheddar had a lovely smoky-salty note and the brie was properly soft. having cheese on its own at a buffet instead of just as a topping is a small thing, but it shows the level they are operating at.
the live counters had pasta, pizza, and an oven-roasted fish that was massive. the fish was cooked perfectly and marinated with bold indian spices - not the bland continental fish you get at most hotel buffets. the korean cream cheese bun was an unexpected highlight - soft, stuffed with garlic cream cheese, glazed with butter, and garnished with herbs and chili flakes. finding this at a buffet instead of a korean bakery was a pleasant surprise.
the standout salad was the watermelon feta - a classic greek combination of watermelon cubes with goat cheese, basil, and olives. they had to keep refilling it, which tells you everything. the mushroom and egg salad with its comforting masala was a close second.
for starters, the fish in chili basil sauce was excellent - crispy coating, proper thai flavors of basil, lemongrass, soy, and red chilies. the chili chicken had vibrant asian flavors with a good spicy-sweet balance. the cheesy chicken tikka was interesting but a touch chewy - could have used more time in the tandoor.
indian mains were led by the butter chicken, which had generously sized pieces in a rich, sweet-tangy tomato gravy. paired with a piping hot fulka from the bread counter, it was genuinely comforting. the amritsari chole had an authentic punjabi taste with the right balance of spice and tang. the paneer tikka had soft, tender cubes with prominent indian spice flavors.
the singaporean stir-fried noodles were addictive - perfectly cooked, right amount of spice, great with the asian starters. the chicken dum biryani had subtle spice and perfectly cooked chicken, though i wished the flavors were bolder.
desserts were exceptional. the biscoff tart had a toffee-caramel flavor with a light crumbly texture. the tender coconut mousse was light and airy with genuine coconut flavor. the red velvet cheesecake was a work of art - sweet and sour in perfect balance. the saffron custard was velvety smooth. the indian mithai section (kaju, pista burfi, shahi tukda) was decent but not the star.
the ambiance is sparkling and sophisticated. a mix of natural and artificial lighting, spacious seating, and subtle background music that creates a fine dining feel without being stuffy. the buffet counters are well-designed and the food is beautifully plated - unusual for a buffet.
what to order: start with cheese and watermelon feta salad. then fish in chili basil sauce and singaporean noodles. butter chicken with fulka. end with biscoff tart and coconut mousse.
verdict: the best buffet in navi mumbai. rs 1,800 is steep, but book through swiggy dineout for 15-20% off and it becomes reasonable for a saturday treat.
2. courtyard pavilion, courtyard by marriott nerul
nerul, sector 7, 4th floor / rs 1,499 per person (saturday lunch) / 8/10
courtyard pavilion is the more affordable of the two marriott buffets in navi mumbai, and in some specific areas, it actually beats 7 isles. it is on the fourth floor with city views from the window tables, and the natural lighting makes it a genuinely pleasant place to eat.
the spread covers indian and continental across all sections. the chaat counter is the standout differentiator - proper dahi puri with crispy shells, creamy yogurt, and tangy chutneys. the palak patta chaat had beautiful crispy textures with refreshing flavors. these are fully hygienic chaat counter items with quality puris, which is rare at hotel buffets.
the live pasta counter deserves special mention. you choose your shape (i went with fusilli), pick your sauce (mixed sauce was my choice - both white and tomato), and they cook it fresh. the presentation was restaurant-level - garnished with pesto and parmesan, served in a proper dish. they had freshly made pizzas from an oven as well.
starters were solid. the basa fish in thai basil sauce was crispy with a sweet-spicy blend. the chicken tikka kebab had a good spicy kick from garlic and chilies, nicely chargrilled. the paneer tikka was mildly spicy with excellent quality paneer - juicy and tender. mushroom canopies (tart shells with chopped mushroom, corn, and cheese) were a light, crunchy snack.
the salad section was extensive with both indian and continental options - hummus, pickled jalapenos, olives, sprouts with custom dressings, and non-veg continental salads including a chicken and shredded vegetable option that was surprisingly refreshing. the cream of mushroom soup was rich and thick with a strong mushroom flavor.
main courses covered all bases. the chicken biryani had a great aroma and was served piping hot. the egg thai fried rice had a lovely lemongrass flavor. the fish peshari had a vibrant gravy and perfectly cooked fillet. the bindi masala was simple, home-cooked style, and exactly the kind of comfort food you want halfway through a buffet. dal makhani looked and smelled amazing.
the daily local delicacy counter is a nice touch - the day i went, they had puran poli served the traditional way with warm sweetened milk and ghee. the puran poli was thin and light, with just the right amount of jaggery sweetness. a thoughtful addition that connects the luxury buffet to maharashtrian roots.
desserts were a blend of indian and continental. the lotus biscoff cake was familiar and creamy. the fresh fruit pastry had light, airy cake layers with whipped pineapple cream. the china gaja (an eastern indian sweet) was strongly sweet with cardamom and nutmeg. the bread pudding was warm and comforting.
what to order: start with dahi puri and palak patta chaat. fusilli in mixed sauce from the live counter. fish peshari with butter fulka. puran poli from the local counter. fresh fruit pastry for dessert.
verdict: rs 300 cheaper than 7 isles and the chaat counter and local delicacy counter make up the difference. the better pick for regular visits.
the solid middle
3. the oberoi buffet
navi mumbai / rs 2,000-2,500 / 7.5/10
the oberoi brings its typical refinement to the buffet format. the spread is smaller than the marriotts but the individual dish quality is higher. fewer items done better, which is a valid approach. best for special occasions when you want elegance over variety.
4. food exchange, novotel vashi
vashi / rs 1,500-1,800 / 7/10
the novotel weekend brunch is a decent option if you are in vashi. global cuisine focus, live counters, and a brighter, more casual ambiance than the marriotts. the asian section is usually the strongest. not as extensive as 7 isles but solid for the price.
5. holiday inn buffet
navi mumbai / rs 1,200-1,400 / 7/10
the budget hotel buffet option. fewer live counters and a simpler spread, but the basics are done well. good for a weekday corporate lunch where you need unlimited food without the premium. the indian section is usually better than the continental here.
the ones i would skip for a special occasion
6. barbeque nation
vashi / kharghar / rs 800-1,000 / 6.5/10
everyone knows barbeque nation. the grills-at-your-table concept is fun the first time and repetitive after that. the buffet section is average. for rs 800-1,000, it is a decent enough outing, but do not call it a luxury buffet. the cajun potato is still the best thing on the menu and that should tell you something.
7. mainland china buffet
vashi / rs 1,000-1,200 / 6.5/10
their alacarte is significantly better than their buffet. the buffet versions of their dishes feel diluted. if you want asian food in navi mumbai, go alacarte at mainland china. if you want a buffet, go to the marriotts.
8. rajdhani thali
multiple / rs 600-800 / 6.5/10
technically unlimited, technically a buffet. gujarati-rajasthani thali served at your table. the food is consistent and the value is decent. but it is a completely different experience from a luxury buffet - more about quantity and familiarity than variety and discovery.
9. sigree global grill
vashi / rs 800-1,000 / 6/10
similar to barbeque nation in concept. the global grill part adds some variety, but the quality has been inconsistent in my visits. some days the meats are well-marinated, other days they are bland. not reliable enough to recommend.
10. local restaurant buffets
multiple / rs 500-700 / 5.5/10
various smaller restaurants in navi mumbai offer weekday lunch buffets for rs 500-700. these are purely functional - they fill you up and that is about it. no live counters, limited desserts, and the food is hit-or-miss. fine for a workday lunch, not for an outing.
navi mumbai buffet tips
- always book through swiggy dineout or zomato dining for 15-30% off. never pay walk-in prices at hotel buffets.
- saturday lunch buffets have the widest spread. weekday lunches are cheaper but noticeably less variety.
- at both marriott properties, the asian sections (noodles, fried rice, thai curries) are usually stronger than the continental sections. plan accordingly.
- go hungry. seriously. skip breakfast if you have a lunch buffet booked. these spreads are designed for 2+ hours of eating.
- for vegetarians, courtyard pavilion is the better choice. the chaat counter and local delicacy counter add variety that 7 isles does not have.
- the dessert section at hotel buffets peaks around 1:30-2 pm when everything is freshly restocked. go early for the best selection.
- parking is easy at both marriott properties. no need to worry about auto-rickshaws or walking.
